PCH DCMP ABCDEFG Recap!

On April 3rd, we competed in the Peachtree District Championship at Mercer University in Macon, GA. After ninety qualification matches we were ranked 4th out of 45 teams. We became Captain of Alliance 3, choosing FRC 6919 (The Commodores) as our first alliance partner and FRC 8736 (The Mechanisms) as our second. We won our first playoffs match; but lost our second, being sent to the lower bracket. In our third match we had an intense round and won by six points! Unfortunately, in our fourth playoff match, we lost by five points to Alliance 4 and were eliminated. We thank our alliance partners for going through this journey with us!

We also received the Quality Award for the second time this season. The Quality Award focuses on machine robustness in concept and fabrication. The judges determined our precision and attention to detail and craftsmanship was one of the best at the competition.

With the District Points we collected at this competition, added to the points from our other competition, our team qualified to go to the FIRST World Championship in Houston for the third year in a row! We are incredibly grateful for this opportunity! Go Techno Titans!
