The Techno Titans recently hosted the Northview FIRST Lego League Regional Tournament at Northview High School on Saturday, 12/10, where 12 FLL teams competed for Robot, Innovation Project, and Core Values awards.
This year's FIRST LEGO League Challenge was called Superpowered. Teams used the FIRST Core Values of teamwork, fun, inclusion, discovery, impact, and innovation to develop a robot that could complete missions, as well as create an innovation project solution that addressed sustainable energy.
We had over 30 student volunteers as well as 13 adults help out with check-in, emceeing, judging, queuing robot game matches, resetting game fields, scorekeeping, concessions, and security.
At the end of the tournament, we held a dance session and winners were announced.
